Chef Lucky

Cake Artist, Natasha “Lucky” Anderson, 32, is a native of Beaver Falls, PA., a
small city outside of Pittsburgh. Born to Larry Anderson and Annette Cork,
Lucky has always had a passion for the arts.
At the early age of 6, Lucky was introduced to baking by her mother. With her
mother’s guidance, and her newfound interest, Lucky continued perfecting
her craft – at the age of 13, she began selling cookies and cupcakes to her
peers.
After relocating to Indianapolis, IN., Lucky enrolled in ceramic classes at Ben
Davis High School. Noticing her talent and commitment, Lucky’s teacher,
Mrs. Wineglass, taught her how to sculpt and turn 2D images into 3D
sculptures.
Wanting to further her education, in 2007 Lucky attended Sullivan University
in Louisville, KY., where she studied Hospitality, with an emphasis in Baking
and Pastry Arts.
Lucky’s commitment to perfecting her craft has paid off tremendously. In
2013, she won 1st place in the Indianapolis Ace of Cake competition. While
working at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, she received a Levy Legend pin for
designing customized dessert platters for their distinguished guests. The
exquisite taste and presentation of Lucky’s pastries also landed her the
opportunity to create cakes for the Indianapolis Fever, and protein balls for
the Indianapolis Pacers. She was then hand-selected to make Caprese salads
for Frank Vogel, the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.
After birthing her daughter, Zoë, Lucky created, “Zoë’s World of Cakes”. Since
its creation, Lucky has become a household name. After suddenly losing her
brother, Lucky has worked endlessly to create a legacy. Regardless of her
circumstances, Lucky is committed to persevering through life’s challenges,
while utilizing her talent to provide a quality life for her family.
Today, as her pastry creations continue to be in high demand, Lucky privately
teaches techniques to cake and pastry makers across the United States. Always
having a passion for teaching others, Lucky strives to share her talents
worldwide and hopes to orchestrate creative cake experiences and utilize her
YouTube channel to help others hone their craft.
As a result of her talent, creativity and infectious personality, Lucky was
selected to make her TV debut on Food Network’s Halloween Wars – the
episode will air on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
